Maggie McRae plays fiddle, uke, hardingfele, and she sings. She performs a variety of fiddle tunes, including Swedish and Norwegian dance music and loves to play swing tunes and jazz standards. R
ecent collaborations and projects have included South Street Swing, Aldo Lavaggi (markets and performances for Dewey Hall’s Young at Heart series), and musical accompaniment for the play Meet Elizabeth Freeman.
Maggie teaches private music lessons and has been on the teaching staff at Berkshire Summer Strings and Centrum’s Festival of American Fiddle Tunes (kids’ band lab).
